SBS Centrifugal Separators

These systems work by using centrifugal force and gravity to drive dirt out of water filtration systems. Dirty water is then driven by the circulating pump to travel through the separator’s tangential inlet and forced into a spinning action. Debris is thrown to the outside wall during this process, and the friction of the flow against the separator body generates a layer of fluid causing the debris to fall to the bottom. Clean water then travels through a vortex, out the center discharge, and then back into the system. All debris at the bottom of the separator passes through a valve into the sewer system.
